Rayane joined our group in January of 2020. She studies the role of JAK/STAT signaling in breast and pancreatic cancer models.
Starting in 2021, Rayane is supported by the NCI-funded Wayne State University Training Program in the Biology of Cancer (T32, CA009531).

For the academic year 2023-2024, Rayane is a recipient of the prestigious predoctoral fellowship in cancer research from the DeRoy Testamentary Foundation.
​
Rayane defended her Ph.D. dissertation "Compensatory roles of JAKs and STATs in mammary gland development and breast cancer" on February 13, 2025.
