POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW or RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
A Postdoctoral Fellow or Research Associate position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Kay-Uwe Wagner at the Karmanos Cancer Institute in Detroit, Michigan.
Our research team studies the biological significance of growth-regulatory signaling networks and proto-oncogenes in normal development and tumorigenesis of the mammary gland and pancreas. For more details about our research interests please visit our website (wagnerlab.net).
The applicant must have a doctoral degree awarded or be in the process of completing a Ph.D. in the life sciences or in an affiliated discipline. The ideal candidate will have a record of peer-reviewed publications, excellent presentation skills, expertise in developmental or cancer biology and working with genetically engineered mouse models. Additional experience in the computational analysis of RNA and ChIP-Seq data sets and CRISPR/Cas-based gene editing is desired.
